starry starry night

15 January 2006

Look, the stars! They’re falling down.

With all haste they head for town.

Yellow, blue, white, orange, red –

Molten blobs of colored lead.

Rocketing towards the earth,

Cackling with malicious mirth.

They race to destroy the most.

But, in death, what use, the boast?

The first poem that rhymes that I can tolerate! Hooray for depression!. How fickle, my muse.
